Breeding Guide
So, you want to breed your Cuties, eh? This guide will teach you the basics of breeding your Cuties so you can get out there and get some babies.
To breed your Cuties, all you need to do is find and contact an artist that is currently open and accepting of breeding customs. You can find this list in the Staff & Custom Information link above. Approach the artist and pitch the pairing you'd like to do and any other information they request.
You can breed two Cuties that you personally own, or one that you own and one a friend owns. You'll have to get written, clear consent that you have permission to use the Cutie, though.
When you've decided on a pairing, fill out this form and post it on this forum, pinging the artist you've agreed with. Please ensure you talk with the artist before posting on the forum to make sure it's okay to get a breeding from them.

How are Children Rolled For?
We roll a number between 1 and 100, and based on that number, a certain amount of Cutie children will pop out.
1-20; 2 Children
21-60; 3 Children
61-94; 4 Children
95-100; 5 Children
As for traits, we roll based on 1-100 again, and this is the passing rate for the traits. All chances are doubled if both parents have the trait.
Common thru Rare: Passed at artist discretion.
Epic: Roll a 10 or under to pass. Rolled by Kiwipen Only. (100 is also an autopass number)
Legendary: Roll a 5 or under to pass. Rolled by Kiwipen Only. (100 is also an autopass number)
Loaf x Normal Cutie: 1-20 Loaf, 21-99 Normal Cutie (100 is an autopass on Loaf)
Loaf x Legendary Species: 1-70 loaf, 71-99 Legendary (100 is also an on Legendary)
Legendary Species x Normal Cuties: 1-10 Legendary, 11-99 Common (100 is an autopass on Legendary)
We roll this for all children, over and over, until all traits are accounted for.
Exceptions to These Rules:
Legendary Species
We currently have two Legendary Species;
Axolotls, and Pugs. These are Cuties made on lineart that was only done once. They are quite rare, and require different species rolling odds.
When breeding two Cuties of Legendary Species together, or one Legendary and one Epic species-Cutie you are guaranteed that all children in the breeding will be of Legendary or Epic Species; however, the amount of offspring resulting in the breeding is now greatly differentiated.
1-40; 1 Child
41-90; 2 Children
91-100; 3 Children
When breeding Legendary/Epic to a Common Cutie, you should use the first roller for offspring amount
Legendary + Epic Species are not bound by the typical rarity system and they do not have traits to roll for. Artists are allowed to draw whatever they'd like on the Cuties they breed their traits onto, even if the resulting Cuties are Common, Uncommon, or Rare.
Fabric Lending
Cuties typically breed by combining two Cuties; however, a third Cutie may 'lend' their pattern, called Fabric Lending.
A Fabric Lender passes motifs, colors, and patterns.
They do not pass Epic or Legendary traits.
They do not pass any species that isn't one of the Common species. (Horse, Deer, Cat, Dog)
There is only one Fabric Lender allowed per breeding (but they are overall optional)
