The Quiet Gardener

Barrow is a quiet soul, who often keeps to himself. This is not to say he doesn’t enjoy the company of other dragons, far from it, he just knows how to appreciate the peaceful calm of being alone. Living amongst the untamed wilderness with the plants and animals, Barrow’s heart belongs to the forests of the Gladekeeper.
To Barrow, flowers are the key to happiness, and there's no hurt in the world that can't be soothed by a hot cup of jasmine tea and a nap in a sunny patch of violets.
If asked what his favorite flower is, Barrow would no doubt talk about how no flower can be compared to another because their beauty comes from how different and changing they all are, but the truth is his favorite is the rose. He is drawn to their simple beauty and connection with love for he is, at heart, a true romantic; always on the search for his one true love.

Barrow’s home is a small cottage just outside of the town, that he has lived in since the day he was born.
His father was a carpenter that helped to build many of the houses in Everbloom Vale, and his mother spent her time tending a large garden full of fruits, flowers, and vegetables from all over the world.
As a hatchling, Barrow was stuck to his mother like glue and so ended up spending most of his time watching her work in her garden or taking walks in the forests with her and his father.

As Barrow grew, so did his love of nature, and rare was the day that someone did not run into him in the woods, taking cuttings of wildflowers to grow in his garden.
Even to this day, though he is rarely seen in town, Barrow is a constant presence to everyone living there.

Despite his very quiet upbringing (or perhaps because of it), Barrow’s favorite time of the year is the spring festival. Held every year during the Greenskeeper Gathering, the festival is the perfect time for Barrow to show off all the flowers he has grown in his garden, and to share them with dragons from all over the world!

Isabella seems adventurous, and the type of dragon who'll make Barrow break from his routine! And he'll have quite the challenge making his plants thrive in the Ice flight!

Barrow was the 12th and final member of the original dragons stationed at the Outpost. He took the place of a female Skydancer, who decided that living out there was not the life for her and headed back to the main clan.

He joined Clan Diamond Dust from a Nature clan, after meeting Isabella during a Greenskeeper Gathering festival. He was intrigued by the idea of developing plants that could survive the harsh winters of the Southern Icefields and perhaps even bear fruit year round.

The Imperial split his time between the main clan and their outpost, although his main experiments were initially set up on the coast, so he initially spent more time out there. He frequently visited with Isabella, and she came out to stay with him whenever she had the time. Once the clan added a farmer to be in charge of the clan's harvest, the Guardian had more flexibility to travel and work on bringing new seeds and cuttings to the clan.

Between the two of them, they were able to introduce a number of new species that added to the clan's stores and profits.
