Angel keeps track of the dead, not just their hatch dates and death dates, but also the details of their individual lives. Though she does maintain the graveyard, arrange burials and ceremonies, the skeletal-looking mirror has a greater calling. She spends her time reviewing the pasts of the remains she looks after and writing down full accounts of their lives. She has built up an extensive library of these life stories over her years of service, and what originally started as a strange object and a weirder hobby quickly became a valuable resource to her clan mates. Thanks to Angel’s perseverance and ability to track down the most minute details, dragons can come to her “Library of Lives” and learn the histories of their family members or even just remember those they loved and lost.





Angel has somewhat of a dual personality. As her name and natural coloring may imply, it would seem that she would be a dragon of the Light. However, her eyes are as dark purple as the depths of the Shadow realm. Her usual appearance is an illusion of magic, making her scales appear black patterned with pearlescent stripes that match her wings. With this appearance she always wears a purple birdskull mask, an armband, and wing piece, a purple-dyed wooly coat and tail, and oftentimes white gloves which somehow never get dirty despite writing in her book with ink. When she appears this way she's often bubbly and silly, and usually found helping out the parents take care of the new hatchlings. She is childish in most ways, but knows when enough is enough. She takes pride in her ability to read other dragon's expressions and body language like an open book. Arguably this makes her the dragon who knows all the others better than sometimes they know themselves.

When she appears without her magicked appearance she wears no apparel, and proudly shows off her light colored scales and wings. When this Angel is around it's almost like you're talking to an entirely different dragon. She is reserved, careful with her words and actions, but often quite harsh and sarcastic in the way her words may be taken. She is still dedicated to her book, but she would rather find other forms of entertaining herself like going out hunting and talking to elder clanmates. She still will read others like an open book, but will not vocally make observations unless directly asked. When Angel appears in her natural coloring it may also indicate she wishes to be a mother again. She has only ever had children when she has appeared in her natural state.
