His name was Prozac when he moved to Moonlit Nyyt Weyr. Now he is named after a mushroom: the Lion’s Mane mushroom or Hericium erinaceus; both names mean hedgehog. It is quite magical that before he knew any of this, he bonded with the hedgehog of the lair, Truffle. The lion's mane mushroom has drawn the attention of researchers for its notable nerve-regenerative properties and for use as an antidepressant. Sometimes the shadows swirl in circles and everything is related, like the shadow sigil.

Both dragon and familiar are named after edible mushrooms but Erin swears to Truffle that he won't eat her and neither will anyone else! They have, however, volunteered to supply the lair's plant eaters with mushrooms and go out searching every day. They like to find odd shrooms for Mandrake to include in his welcoming duties.
