Never knowing his father, Mercy was born and raised by his mother in the Light Flight. While many of the Lightweaver's descendents are cheery and active, Mercy was not and he stood out like an ugly thorn. His clanmates avoided him, slowly but surely, Mercy became a hermit, the only one in his clan. But it did not bother Mercy, not at all. He enjoyed that no one ever bothers him. Mercy had always been attracted to the dark side of life, slowly, his bright yellow body shows signs of darkness.

He began to practice black magic, some may call it hex magic. He soon found out that he took to it very easily, as if he was gifted since birth. One stormy day, the runes appeared and he was chased out of his own clan. Mercy began to wander around, moving every few days, he soon caught the interest of a little Light Sprite whose company he doesn't mind. Months of traveling soon gave Mercy reasons to believe that his father was a descendent of the Plaguebringer. Surprisingly, when he met Blood, both of them felt an attachment towards each other, as if they were brothers. Blood invited Mercy to his clan, which he accepted.
