All life springs some something at its core. Some believe in the lands and the trees that reach to the skies, other the rotting flesh and decay of death. Light fights shadow. Water and fire dance among themselves. ice and the earth shape landscapes. Lightning and wind battle over the skies, but what of those under the banner of the Arcane? Well, knowledge is their weapon, and their rival.

True knowledge is power. Once one understands the world, their abilities become limitless.
They were honored in more ways than one. They were the parents to the great founding members of their clan, both Ibex and Iris had proven their lineage. Found family or born into it didn't matter to them, or anyone within their clan's domains. Maybe their offspring would one day prove to be greater than the trio that housed them at their birth, but it wouldn't matter. Family was family, no matter what clan, what name, or what land.

It didn't matter who was greater, or who was lesser. They were all family. They would share each other's successes and each other's failures. Together they would remain strong, no matter what. That was what family was about.
