he's an honorary member in the council, due to marital relations, quite a few members of Bient Drotn don't think it's a good idea to have him on the council- they don't think it's safe (they're all racist against pearlcatchers you see). He doesn't participate much in council goings on, he honestly kind of agrees with the general sentiment. He mostly keeps people safe, a guard on the outskirts, or in the library. He's basically a trophy husband, honestly. But he enjoys his time, and what he does, he has no problems with his position, he's happy where he is. He doesn't wish to move up in rank, or down, he's quite fine right where he is.

Winter is fairly calm, he's certainly a fighter though. He's had to fight most of his life, not having a clan to rely on. He still would for for anyone and everything in Bient Drotn, he loves his clan and he would defend them to the death. Any thread and he would be willing to fight. He is calm headed, and soft even so, and wouldn't start a fight without reason, ad is certainly there to break up fights that go on for too long. He would not suggest war, and would be unhappy should another clan demand it with Bient Drotn, but he would fight and protect his clan. The whole time however, suggesting peace negotiations, and calm words, war is bad, it's tiring and exhausting, he doesn't want his clan to go through that.

On a smudged horizon
Over looking lightly frosted pines,
A coated forest soared across the land,
ragged trunks like nature's spine.

A frigid gust slammed the hills,
Crackling ice sent up chills.

Gathered way down low,
Only to be whisked away
By relentless, unforgiving snow.
