Personality: A somewhat reclusive Sandsurge who keeps things to himself. His status as a messenger for both the Plaguebringer and Arcanist has caused him to withdraw from society, and because of the voices he hears he often talks to himself. Although he is loyal he tends to ignore or pass off orders to others if he deems them not worth his time. To the other dragons, he seems quite intimidating. There are days when the voices clash, and those days are the worst. Phenex often stays in his den when this happens to avoid inconveniencing the others with his mood swings. His mate Flauros is the highlight of his life and is very understanding of his condition, giving him space while also leaving food and notes for him to make sure he's taking care of himself. Lore: Follow my voice... The words were whispered quietly into Phenex's mind as he carefully picked his way through Quarantine Zone #128. Odd... it didn't sound like the Plaguebringer's normal voice. But if not a deity, who else could it be? He had had prophecies delivered to him by the god since birth, so he had no reason to doubt. But perhaps he should have doubted, for several minutes later the voice guided him onto a fragile rock cliff. The ground crumbled beneath him, and he only had a second to call for help before his entire body was swallowed by the bubbling acid below. The pain was agonizing, and his screams drew the attention of some nearby Arcane scholars, who rushed to fish him from the pond as his sight went black. Days later, Phenex woke to searing pain all over his body and two voices clashing inside his head. "Quiet!" He shouted, but the voices didn't listen. Clenching his teeth, he sat up and caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. Although most of his body was surprisingly healed, his back fin was now a strange pink-purple color and pulsed with Arcane magic. The door slid open and another dragon entered the room, likely alerted by the sound. After exchanging some greetings and asking how Phenex was feeling, she gave him some medicine for the pain. "You were barely clinging onto life when we found you, so we had to use some intense magic to save your life. It seems to have lingered within your body, as you can tell by your back fin. Despite the change, you should be fully healed within a few more days." Phenex thanked her but secretly, he planned to leave as soon as possible. Who knew what they would do if they learned he could now hear their deity, the Arcanist, as well? No, it was better to leave and hide away where no one could take advantage of his curse again.

The original owner of Deyanira and Aamon had exalted all their dragons and had a count of 0 in their lair when the system kicked them to the generate progen screen with an error message. False progens were then were created and put into their lair that were about 2 months younger than the actual account. They could not be exalted, and would show up as progens when searched in their lair. The parents are no longer able to be searched as progens within the lair of the owner, but they will live on in infamy with their seemingly unique glitch. Hatchlings from this pair can be bought from this thread.
