Spire of the Misty Moon

Hydrangea was born of moonlight
She and her twin sister, Jacaranda, were born in a silvery light that filled the viridian labyrinth one misty night with a full moon. The two young skydancers learned and grew together in the forest, and they both took the names of the flowers that grew there. They had been born of the moon's desire to be worshiped- Sornieth has 11 deities, and none of them honor the spirit of the moon. The two were both drawn to the moon, having been born from its light, and after discovering that there was a telescope strong enough to allow them to see as far as they needed, they agreed to travel there as soon as they could. The two collected the herbs that they used to make potions and magic, and the flew above the trees of the labyrinth and across the crystals of dragon home until they arrived at the edge of the starfall isles. The two, worried of angering the god by venturing further, created a small camp atop a mist covered spire that burst forth from the water. It took the two sometime to go from being little more than homeless wanderers to being a well established clan, but they worked very hard to make their humble home into the impressive clan they run today.

Hydrangea was the quieter of the two moon born skydancers, and was happy to let her sister become the clans leader. She stuck to paper work and behind the scenes work for the clan, and her gardening. Although she loves the Starfall Isles and would never want to be anywhere else, she has always loved plants and gardening, ever since she manifested in the gladekeeper's domain. Roses have always been her favorite flower, and she covers herself in fresh ones daily.

She is also very talented with flower magic- she can make vines bend to her will, and encourage flowers to grow far more quickly than they would ever be able to naturally. She also knows how to mix and grind different types of flowers to make all kinds of things- poisons and healing ointments, as well as different types of potions that can enhance strength and magic. She gives them to any one in he clan who needs them, allowing mages to create even more powerful spells, and the fighters to take down enemies that would normally be far beyond their scope. She also works with Jeneane, the alchemist, to help her make alchemy regents she can use in her experiments with her flower portions.

Familiar: Galantea

Galantea is a flower loving swan who showed up in Hydrangea's garden one day and simply refused to leave. It was skittish, at first, but she slowly gained its trust. Now it parades around the garden, helping her to get flowers out of her reach. She feeds and takes care of the bird, but it is far from a pet, disappearing for days on end, eating whatever it wants, and sometimes even making a mess of the garden, which Hydrangea can luckily repair with her plant based magic skills. She still loves the bird, though, and is always happy to find it in her garden in the morning

Familiar: Fleur

Fleur the nature sprite is Hydrangea's beloved companion. She traveled back to the viridian labyrinth of her youth to collect flowers and seeds to grow in her herb garden, and found the sprite sleeping in a tulip, all curled up like a hatching. The sprite, curious in nature as they are, followed her around as she spent a week collecting and carefully pressing seeds and flowers. She offered for the sprite to follow her back to the crystal spine reaches, and it did. It now lives in her garden, magically tending to the flowers with its nature-filled energy.

Family & Friends

Jacaranda is Hydrangea's twin sister, and her dearest friend. The two were nearly inseparable as children, and while they both have many duties now, as adults, and are both terribly busy, the moon born sisters always make time to talk together, and pray to the moon. She helps Jacaranda take care of the moon spirit, and Jacaranda can sometimes be found sleeping in her sister's garden.

Morganite

Morganite, the crystal healer, has often come to her asking for flowers to mix with their crystal concoctions, and the herbalist found herself smitten with the beautiful pink crystalline nocturne. It took her some time to work up the courage to tell them about her crush. They collected a bouquet of flowers in purple, pink, and blues, and wrapped them up in delicate, home made lace. They happily accepted the token of her love, and the two soon began to spend time together. Morganite now helps her with her gardening, and has moved into her flower hut. She often helps him collect the crystals she loved so much when then saw dragon home, and the two are rarely seen without the other.
