Alistair

It is unknown what lurks in the darkness of Hewn City, but many expeditions and clans have vanished without a trace or were brutally killed, with very few and rare survivors speaking of unspeakable shadowy horrors with claws sharper than any dragonscale would withstand.
Once, a band of scavengers found a gleaming egg among ruins of a wiped out clan that lived in Hewn City. Miraculously left unscathed, it was still held by its mother who tried to escape and save her clutch.
Despite superstitions surrounding survivors of those attacks, the dragons decided to show mercy to the unborn and took it to their clan. The egg hatched into a Guardian boy with scales of soft and bright green. The orphan was named Alistair and the clan raised him as their own.
When Alistair reached maturity, he felt the obligation of finding his charge calling him. Feeling it was not among the clan he spent his entire life in, after thanks and kind farewells he left, supplied with things needed to survive.
He sought for more than a year, traversing the whole Sornieth far and wide until making it to the Crystalspine Reaches where he met a young Guardian going by the name Eliora. She claimed a magical crystal as her charge, its magic pure and warming. Something within his instincts told him to stay within her newly created clan - and so he did.
The dragoness was recently abandoned by her mate, who decided to serve the Arcanist, taking their only child with him as well. She struggled to find her place within the land, but with help of Alistair and a few other dragons that joined them she estabilished a clan that later would be called the Soulhearth Clan.
It took Alistair some time to realize that Eliora herself and her clan were his charge.
