Ｄａｒｅｍｙｔｈ
Quiet and subdued, Daremyth is happiest when left to her own devices and allowed to do as she pleases. It is the way she treats other dragons and wishes that those around her would be more willing to return the favor. This makes her seem aloof at times, but it’s really just that she very much likes minding her own business and would like others to do the same. This does not mean that she is rude though, to the contrary she is polite to a fault and when necessary plays the part of the generous and willing hostess perfectly. Eventually though being around others wears on her and she will give subtle little hints that her patience for company is wearing thin. She is never rude though and all but the most oblivious of individuals quickly get the hint and go on their way to allow her to enjoy her solitude again. Loneliness is something she has never felt, which she considers to be a good thing. To her it is part of her nature as an Imperial to be self-sufficient and able to keep a distance from others. Despite her lack of interest in others she has had many children and has been a wonderful mother to all of them. In her own quiet way she cared deeply for each and every one of them, but her distant nature made it easy for each and every one of them to eventually set out on their own with little to no sentimentality. She has no regrets about this since it means that her children are pursuing their own form of happiness, just as she is doing. Other dragons might think that her mindset about keeping away from others is basted at least partially in fear, for all Imperials have some near instinctive dread that will rise up at the thought of Emperors rising up, but this is a thought that never occurred to Daremyth. It simply suits her to be on her own and seek out her own small pleasures wherever they may be, fear of others has nothing to do with it.
