While his focus and specialty is armour and weapons, he can craft anything the Forge Wardens may need, from tools to jewelry. His finest works always stay within their ranks to arm their warriors, but everything else is sold, traded or gifted to other clans. Some might wonder how the small coatl can possibly produce enough armaments to keep the entire clan supplied, never mind keeping all their equipment repaired, but Resdayn has been a smith for so long that he requires only half a day to complete a full set of armor. He need only look at a dragon to gauge their fitting, saving even more time. He is efficient, competent and productive, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say the clan might not exist if not for his work.

Resdayn almost never speaks, embarrassed of his inability to pronounce proper draconian, and worrying that he sounds uneducated when he makes the attempt. The three with whom he socializes most are his mate, Jarzu, and his apprentices, Kalaraan and Oikara, who provide him with the extra help he needs to arm the clan now. He has an incredibly acute sense of taste, which he considers a gift from the Flamecaller, and he uses it to help him choose the purest and best metal ores for his work. He tests each piece with his tongue, choosing what will hold strong and true to forge weapons and armor for his kin. What he deems inferior is sold to other flights, at a considerable markup compared to the prices their own flight receives. The shoddiest of ores, however, that he deems weak and barely workable, are sold at a “special discount” to their enemies.
