Basecamp: Iceberg Fortress

Kelenken has recently returned from nesting in Shadow, to discover that she, Frostjack, and their children had some sinister thing clinging to them. She has since been in the new Iceberg Fortress; now that she is cleansed she helps watch over the others and helps in the construction of the yet unfinished portions.

Elemental Nature
Kelenken is strongly of Nature, and expresses it in a fairly classic fashion. While unlike some she does not leave a trail of blossoming plants, nor grow vegetation on herself, she is an accomplished hunter and has a strong sense of the nature of plants, even those she has not seen before. Kelenken spends a great deal of time in the wilds of the Icefield, and as a result is deeply acquainted with the local flora of the taiga and tundra.

Physical description

Kelenken is a large wildclaw, but lightweight for her size. Her wings are short and broad, well-adapted for maneuvering in tight spaces as would have been common in the jungle she was born in. Kelenken has powerful legs, and moves with a hunter's grace on the ground, honed in her many long expeditions through tundra and taiga.

Kelenken bears a scar from one of her expeditions, which seemingly healed fully, but then began spreading blue into the feathers around it. The reason for the color change is unclear, but there seems to have been no harm from it, so Kelenken is simply watching it to see if it spreads further.

Origin
Kelenken came to Northslope from Nature clan made up mostly of wildclaws and a few coatls. She left very shortly after fledging, and remembers little of the place save that there were many of her own kind there.

Kin
Kelenken's ancestry, especially her father's side, is very dense in Plague dragons, and in Exalts to Plaguebringer, as well as those who dwell in the Scarred Wasteland. Her parents, in fact, have moved there since her departure. Kelenken is one of a five-egg nest, all of whom still walk the mortal realms. Despite this, Kelenken is not in contact with any of her siblings.

Kelenken has hatched two nests of her own, one with Djinn, of which both children have gone to serve the gods, and one recently with Frostjack. The children of the latter nest came back bearing the same sinister thing Kelenken carried, and are being cleansed in the Iceberg Fortress, and sent to new homes when they are clear.
