Blight

hatched under a an unlucky moon in the ruins of the pox consulate, Blight was cursed from birth. being the runt of the litter meant it was sickly, having never received proper nutrition as a hatchling, with its siblings out-competing it for food and leaving it with only bones and scraps. one day it broke off from its pack, running to the scarred wastelands, believing that plague magic would help it grow strong. instead, the magic proved too powerful for young Blight to handle, and it perished - but not for long. the spell it had performed had inadvertently transferred its soul into the gem on the necklace its mother had given to it, the only gift it had ever received. and thus, Blight was reborn as a lich, plague magic pulsing through its rotting veins and thorny vines growing up through its decaying body, practically replacing its left arm.

Though it may call itself Blight, that is not the name it was born with - It has long since forgotten that name.
