Qamar is a newer recruit who works in the campus library - or at least that's what it seems like. She's actually been around for quite awhile; longer than anyone else. She'd probably start a civil war for saying it but she's more or less the soul of the moon Juda'ah given draconic form - not that she particularly wants to tell anyone. She's never been around other creatures so a lot of the students find her offputting and strange since she doesn't really talk - also she's really, really old; old as the moon, even.

Mostly she misses the view of the sky. She's quickly become good friends with Kyzyl, he's always wanting to talk someone's ear off about obscure astronomical proofs and she finds his reasonings both entertaining and deeply endearing. She's doesn't really sleep so she's always pulling all-nighters despite being a daytime clock-puncher at the library - she discovered coffee shortly after her arrival at Moon's Teeth and she's been fast-tracking towards caffeine addiction ever since.

She's very smart, it just doesn't show in a way that's easily quantifiable to an outside presence. She really likes books though. She thinks it's cool that people made their thoughts into something that's visible. She caught on to the whole 'alphabet' thing really fast too, she's working on her own even!
