Biography

Oblivion
The Retired Treewarden
"QUOTE"

Even strangers note how openminded and amiable Oblivion is, particularly given his position. The old mirror was once a Treewarden, the guard order that both protected and contained the Pox Consulate. And he wasn't always a mirror either.

Ages ago, he was a young spiral racing through the undergrowth and canopy, growing branches to support his leaps and flights. Clever, quick, and magically adept, but also friendly and unburdened by generational mistrust due to his ice parentage, he was picked out for training by the order after a multiclan race that he placed in.

Other trainees were weeded out for any number of reasons: lack of discipline, hidden grudges, health issues caused by the exposure to plague toxins required by their role. They were to be protectors and jailers of a powerful plague dragon, and all native plague dragons carried some sort of latent infection. It was not a job for anything less than the most robust. Oblivion made the cut through tenacity and enjoyment of the cycling cast of characters that inhabited the embassy.

His life became interesting when *ambassador name* moved into the consulate. He was a small imperial, so pale in color one would think he'd caught coatl's bane somehow. He was clever, witty, and far more congenial than the last ambassador, and Oblivion was looking forward to that decade.

Two surviving daughters from a plague nest, Mate (water) still active as gen 3 spiral, parents exalted, second child, 6th gen, was a spiral.

Member of the Nature armistice guard. Still magically active. Took up the breedchange to Plague's native on a bet from a previous ambassador. Now geckofeet! 4520 years of armistice, each ambassador serving 10 years. Start the story with them meeting, male ambassador, incongruously colored, spiral or imp. Out of a job now that the Consulate is being consumed? Sent to the border?
