Malika’s name is of African origin, and means “queen” or “princess.” Even though she is not royal by birth, she is certainly treated as if it were so! Malika’s mate never hesitates to shower her in all manner of gifts, but she doesn't let it go to her head. Rather, Malika is positive, upbeat, and ever-energetic, quick to bring a smile to any who are in need of one. Her constant chatter and laughter are very contagious, and she can help even the shyest dragons come out of their shells. Anemone, whose egg Malika found while in the Kelp Beds, is like a daughter to her, and she and Malachi both dote on the young dragonette endlessly.
