Erebus is a disciple of the Shadowbinder, born and raised in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. He has been trained in deceptive arts for all his life, and has the talent of shifting himself from corporeal to shadow. He was raised alone, with no knowledge of his parentage, and only a few other dragons to train with. He quickly proved himself to be a gifted user of Shadow magic, and was dispatched to, according to him, "Spread mischief unto Sornieth." Instead, however, he chose to spread amicable mischief upon the clan.
His past is as unclear as he is, but he does act as an ambassador to sister clans in Shadow, as he is more than familiar with the customs than anyone else, being from Shadow himself. He is revered by most clans, being a legendary trickster, but in his own clan, most can't understand why he is so universally loved, particularly Hecate, with whom he has a rivalry, due to his insistence on stealing her ingredients and using them in his pranks. He deeply cares for all members of the clan, though you'd have to twist his wing to get him to admit it, and he can become quite scary in their defense.
