E L P I S
Created by Hermes to the end of finding distant stars, Meteion is many. Capable of communicating with locals no matter her destination due to her creator's skill with fragile things, though admittedly far from perfect when sent out initially. Though numerous Meteia were sent skyward to visit distant stars, one remained, keeping her creator company as long as she was able. The time they had together was not long, however. Her creator was spoken to by the Convocation with intent to bring him to a higher calling. Falling in with her responsibility, Meteion brought news of the stars her Sisters had visited, though the news was not what she wanted to share. Fleeing her responsibility for her master's sake, the burden weighed ever-heavier on her, before she finally fled the Star entirely. Marked by a band to track her location, she flew to the edge of existence.

U L T I M A T H U L E
In her nest at the universe's edge, Meteion still had influence over her homeland. Twisting the aether to corrupt the powers of those living there, spurring the creation of several large, dangerous creatures. The more the people of her Star fought, the harder the battle would become. The solution? For the one who marked Meteion to rend the Star asunder, destroying everyone upon it and offering them a second chance. But even that would not be enough to save them. Shards of the original Star existed, across ten and three. With less of a connection to these shards, Meteion's influence was not strong enough on its own. But those few who survived the world's end wanted to see their home restored. To such an end, they aided her unwittingly, Rejoining the individual shards as they went.

E T H E I R Y S
After several fallen shards, Meteion had the ability to target the Star itself again. And so she did, bringing those upon it the despair they so easily succumbed to. Her efforts drew the attention of the Star's most powerful fighter, who she had met before being tracked to the end of all. Believing the end to be a mercy, she still tried to fight, but was ultimately defeated. Now, in the form of a bird, Meteion learns to walk the earth the way her creator failed to teach her. Forgiven of her wrongs, she once again seeks to make friends. To learn the ways of the world as it is. To make her creator proud, even if he can no longer see her. Do not be alarmed, she means you no harm. She only wants to hear your words, share your feelings, and know your thoughts.
