Vertical1.png The founder of the Institute for the Study and Containment of Rampant Magic, Basil has spent his long life chasing a scientific truth, and a way to harness magic that is as wild as it is unpredictable. Despite his lofty goals he's more of the academic type, the sort of dragon who'll always have his snout in a book with a claw free to take notes, so many of his studies are acquired by the dragons who work beneath him. The sort of dragons who share the same interest in powerful wild magic, and those who typically have few reservations when it comes to achieving results.

He has little patience to see others in person, and is not typically well liked anyway. While he micromanages everything from experiments to research goals, the task of general upkeep often falls to Beatrice when it comes to ensuring everything runs smoothly.
