“The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea.”
𓋒 Biography 𓋒
She was crying. Teals were not about to stop anytime soon. Plip, plip, plip... Away from the ocean, away from everyone she loved. She would always run to the beach and let herself be deanched in the salt water, its all gone now.
She came to a grassy, cheesy, place. It was not water. It was grass. Boring, old grass. She dropped her pearl. She has no soul now. She was alone. She kicked her pearl as far away from her as she could and started to sob. Why did she have to move here? Why can't it be water? When she saw her pearl rolling back to her, she glared and threw her pearl into the slopes. She got up and headed the other way. As she passed the other pearlcatchers, their mouths dropped open. She could feel their shock. No pearl? No soul? No life? She tried to ignore them and flew into the sky. she flew as hard as she could and... it couldn't be, the ocean? The sand? She dove down and started to swim. Joy overflowed her as she danced and cut through water. Her head bumped against something green. Jewel green. A skydancer statue with the rusty tag. Morina. Shocked, she lifted the statue and tried to swim to the surface. It was too heavy. She put every drop of her strength but the statue didn't move. She was in the water for too long now. Her lungs burned for air but she refused to go up. She started to feel lightheaded. Goodbye world. She thought. Suddenly, she was pushed to the surface by a lavender and blue fish. It was holding her pearl. This time, she took it and thanked the fish for saving her life. she threw her pearl at the statue and surprisingly, it came up above the water. The water around her turned into shimmering starsilks and a silk dress, and the seagrass around her turned into beautiful seashell and pearl drapes. This was a sign. The ocean loved her too. |
