Grandeur was here long before I ever made the glens my home. He is not terribly bothered by me and my companions' continued presence. I find it hard to believe he wasn't at all lonely, before we arrived. He welcomes the new ones, especially the young ones, and he's openly infatuated by this tiny Squirmscoot that's attached herself to him.
I can understand the others' apprehension regarding him, as he is quite an intimidating figure, and by far the largest, but I can't quite feel that same fear. Not when I see that adoring look in his eye. I don't know much about his life before I arrived, and he's not keen on sharing his story, but he is very old, and I am very sure he's experienced far more than any dragon has a right to. |
