WRAITH
fury bubbles up in the most unexpected ways

Ever the opportunist, Wraiths enjoy phasing into the physical realm when it's least convenient for their latest target, and attempting to sabotage both them and their environment.

Now that Veilspun have come out of the tangled woodwork, things have changed for the better — at least for these creatures. The breed's size, safety in numbers, and ability to hypnotize with ease, instantly appealed to Wraiths, and thus they've changed their physical forms to suit.

It's still common for them to venture into heavily populated clans, either alone or in a small group of two to five, but now they can cause a chain of chaos with ease, just by staying within sight of their temporary companions.

Wraiths are drawn to those with building negative emotions — especially anger, and grief — and compel them to release it on the unsuspecting clan.

The best way to defeat Wraiths is either by chasing them off — for despite their numbers, their size leaves them vulnerable to most physical attacks, and their magic lacks in the way of defense — by temporarily banishing them back to their plane, or, if one deems themself lucky, by capturing them.
"Take extreme caution when you cross paths with any amount of them, and consider yourself lucky if you survive the encounter." a late expert on Wraiths
