Dragons often whisper when Crow is about. He moves slowly, very slowly, dragging his paws across the lush grass. He never blinks or breathes, they say. Dead as a door nail, or perhaps a living corpse. No one really knows what happened to Crow. In his past life in the Southern Icefields, his soul was gentle, flickering with softly. There were witnesses to his kind smile that held warmth. The coatl was consumed by the brambles, stuck in the forest surrounded by darkness. His soul was no longer, leaving a hollow husk to wander his days feeling empty. No one ever sees him smile, frown, or even speak. Crow’s always at a blank state.

ok, so crow was always like this ever since he entered the coven. his soul was lost in a ritual and now he spends his day as a lifeless dragon. tbh, he only served as a minion to give birth to the clan's leader, cacogen. eggs that weren't qualified to fit cacogen's soul were sacrificed. giving birth to the new chief was a daunting moment, too. his egg came out of his mouth, splotched with black sludge. crow was unconscious for days after "giving birth" to cacogen.
• While crow is known to be quiet and somewhat unresponsive, there are times when his heart beats just like before and he’d show glimpses of what he used to be.
• A lot of dragons think he holds malicious feelings for his son, Cacogen, but in actuality he doesn’t really care.
