Biography
ELNATH: THE TINKERER
Adopted Son of Amun
In one of his wandering excursions, Amun came upon a Pearlcatcher hatchling that seemed weak and near death, abandoned in the mountains. Taking pity on the little male and admiring his gorgeous golden gems, Amun swept him back to the lair, giving him to Lenka to raise as their adopted child. At first this caused some fuss among the other Imperials of Realgar, as the clan had never had a Pearlcatcher before and some were quite against the idea. Amun would not tolerate their prejudice, however, and insisted that the young boy should not be faulted simply for his breed. Together they began breaking down the animosity between Imperials and Pearlcatchers.
Now grown, Elnath is an intellectual creature, always curious and inquisitive. He loves to read and study the ancient tomes in the clan library. He has also taken to inventing new and strange devices and tinkering with clocks and other small mechanical objects. His Arcane magic allows him to manipulate his inventions and bring them to life in interesting ways, like his reanimated Sentry Squawker who was destroyed by Morgana in the Workshop, only to be fixed and repurposed by Elnath.
He enjoys his solitude, but appreciates spending time with the others in the clan. He once mated with a young Tundra, Ziircon, who has since left the clan to join the Arcanist. He then chose a second mate who also left him unhappy and alone, taking their two Tundra children with her. He has vowed to not mate again until he is sure she's the right one, having his heart broken enough times in his young life.
He spends much of his time with his good friends Atlas, Ralla, Ouija and Amdor.
