Thistle came from a shadow clan, he didn't dislike it there, however. He wandered into the Moonlit Cove by accident one day when he went out for one of his morning strolls. He got so caught up in admiring the scenery that he didn't even realize he had wandered into the Water Flight domain. He loved how the Moonlit Cove looked so much, that he decided to stay with he clan.

Thistle always loved to write poetry, he enjoys writing and reading it. He likes to perch on top of the bluff near the lair to write poems and sonnets about the environment around him. His favorite type of scenery to write about is a brisk spring day, he also enjoys to write about the ocean and its mysteries. Every one loves to read Thistle's poems, even if they don't make sense to them.

Thistle also likes to help gathering fruits and plants for the clan. He doesn't really gather a lot, however, he is too busy admiring the nature around him to remember that he is supposed to be gathering for the clan. He also tends to the familiars with his best friend, Mystina. The two love to admire nature together and find different types of flowers. Mystina also helps Thistle with his poetry whenever he seems to be in a block.
