Biography
|
The next morning, after that dark and gloomy night, she wanted to see if the Clan of the Cyclone had any other camps within their territory. Stormsoother, the clan leader and progenitor of all in this clan, said that there was. "Just head to the place between Singer's Brook, and the Zephyr Steppes. You'll find something of a cave, I think that is perfect for you." Stormsoother told Nephthys. So she flew over to the place in hours. It would've been fast if she wasn't being so wary of her pearl, Nephthys thought to herself after the flight. But, at least she found a place good for her. She saw that it was a library nestled into a cave, with lots of desks, chairs, and books - she met up with the person who apparently owns the place, Goldmane. He was one of the better looking Aberrations, she thought to herself as she walked away from where their short conversation took place. After seeing that Aberration, she believed that this Wind clan was far more hospitable, kind, respectful and respectable than she first thought. She settled herself into a corner of the Deep Archives, which was what the giant library cave was called, and made herself at home. Though, one night, appearing just like the night when she came to the Clan of the Cyclone, with the gloominess hanging in the air, moon and stars nowhere to be seen and lightning striking everywhere, Nephthys the Pearlcatcher had foretold something within her tiny pearl. It was too horrifying, so she revealed it only to Stormsoother, Grasshopper (the other leader), and the parents of the unfortunate dragon. Sunset, a female Imperial, was going to die on the next gloomy, dark night. Her parents were devastated, and rightfully so.. the next year, on the night said in the prophecy - with the blank nighttime sky, and thunder and lightning striking everything they could, Sunset had appeared to die in her sleep, causing the mourning and weeping of all of the dragons as the newly dead Imperial had a public funeral for all of the Wind clan to see. Later, by the parents' request, Sunset was buried far, far away in an isolated cave. Nephthys wanted to feel bad, and she does, but this is what fate had foretold. It was what the strings and stars of fate had told her, so it cannot be avoided. That same day, she was promoted to Clan Mage, with the side job of a Seer or a Prophet. |
