Biography

IOS7qCK.pngIOS7qCK.pngTrichD_Symbol-200.pngGFO8dSL.pngGFO8dSL.png

In the land of the divine,
Where dragons and deities were at their prime,
There lived an ungodly pair so mischievous,
Their “simple” pranks almost too malicious.

Lischgeia and Sirreax were their names,
And answering calls were their game.
But their offers were always sly,
Their gifts sure to make one cry.

Some dragons would plead and pray,
To these twin deities on a dark and gloomy day,
And with a grin, they would agree,
To grant their wishes so readily.

The god would say with a smirk,
"I'll help you leave this earth,"
And the goddess would add her touch,
"I'll make sure it hurts."

Their gifts were always tricks,
Backfiring on their wishers quick,
The god's help was a poison,
The goddess's a curse, unchosen.

The witches soon learned to beware,
Of these twin deities with their devilish flair,
For answering their calls with deceitful gifts,
Was their favourite way to set dragons adrift.

So if you ever hear these twin gods' call,
Think twice before asking for any thrall,
For the twin god and goddess might just come,
With plans to playfully, overzealously, mercilessly destroy all.

GFO8dSL.png Beware of the goddess of tricks,
Whose powers can play nasty ticks,
If you call on her name,
Your wishes she'll claim,
And leave you with nothing but snuffed out wicks!

Since the dawn of time, the paranoia to protect oneself from others, or the concern that something external was a threat to them has always existed. Stories and tales of the dark things that move in the night manifest as warnings and later myths to keep their young away from danger of the unknown. But when something that has been passed down as a tall tale, often a "rational" conclusion is drawn. Oh, it was a freak accident. The earth swallowed them. It was an act of god. They went somewhere dangerous. Excuses were made, and repeated for generations to pass guilt far from themselves but to something out of their control. A conclusion to help them sleep at night and cope with their decisions and not be the one at fault. Some would spread tales of magic, witches and curses that would befall those around them. Just another excuse for something they would not take the blame for, another outside force they were powerless against. It was easier to point the finger at something, or someone else.

The Witchborne have long been ostracized and a target for these claims, but within them also lies another problem. Within every group, is another to act as the scapegoat, the lightning rod of their problems. The Child-Eaters, they called them. Families consumed and children feasted upon by those twisted enough to resort to it. It wasn't for survival, it was for greed. Perhaps they understood something the others didn't, there was no way for them to know. But, to a small few within those granted the horrid title of Child-Eater could they point to another group, a pair of dragons that laughed at their misfortune and were foolish enough to listen and hang onto every word that dripped from their fanged maws; Alanis & Siremine, or as their mortal bodies were known as.

They had no interest in revenge for them. They didn't convince them with their tales of power because they hated them. Truthfully, they had no feelings toward the bloodline at all, they simply just were another lineage of dragons. However, the pair had long ago toyed with them, twisting their minds just to see how easy it would be. Nearly ending the entire heritage of dragons was something they were quite proud of. It had been so simple to convince them to turn on each other. There was no reason for them to do so, other than simply for the joy of it. They found it interesting how simple it was for them to absorb and grow their magic. From consuming rare herbs or other infused objects, it wasn't until one of the twins made a bet with the other to convince them to eat their young. Soon, such a daring suggestion would turn into who could convince one to eat more children than the other. And as their games advance, it evolved from one eating their own offspring, to hunting and eating the offspring of another, and soon, any child, even for just a drop of power. As they had begun to plant their seeds of chaos, they sat back, and watched it unfold. Some consuming in some plagued self-justices to fight back the "greater" evils of their bloodline, while others simply consumed off greed of power. As they consumed, they would be hunted down, the twins had their fun and moved on, losing their interest. But with them returning stronger than before, so had their itch for entertainment.

Having toyed with them before, the pair understood what the limits of their stretched truths would go to. One would convince a father that his children would become evil, his tainted magic spreading to his kin. The solution? He would have to consume the bodies of his children to lock away the evils of his offspring. The other would tell a mother the story of the father, warning her that her relatives were corrupt and would birth and consume their young for dark magic, the only way to stop them to protect her own children, was to sacrifice others. After all, as long as she was protecting her family, it didn't matter what lengths she would go to. The twins would go around, spreading tales of each of their former successes to the next to share the paranoia, and soon it wouldn't be long until they would succumb to their own corrupt bloodline's greed and wrath. Each dragon becoming more demented and twisted than the last, the next becoming more sinister to try and overpower the last. Some did it for their own desire for powers, other did it to protect themselves, and some did it to protect others. With enough chaos planted, all they had to do was sit back and watch it all play out, but as they relaxed to enjoy their creation, some would share stories of the dragons that had visited them to share these stories and the two would be found out. But it was far too late, and knowing it was them, would not save the Child-eaters from themselves.

They were already lost.
