Grey is the archivist of the Rain Clan and one of the dragons who has been in the clan the longest. He spends most of his time in the library, researching history, genealogy, and mythology. He keeps records of all important events in the clan: new hatchlings, arrivals and departures of dragons, and those who have gone to serve the Arcanist. He is good friends with Venus, the clan's scribe, and she helps him to lighten up and get his head out of the books.

Grey is studious, serious, and patient.
