One of the most recognizable birds across the USA is the bald eagle. This bird is typically found in North America and most of Canada. They maintain a carnivorous diet mainly consisting of fish. At one point these birds were on the endangered species list but have since been moved to the threatened species list as their population continues to grow.

The age of maturity for these birds is 4-5 years old and live in the largest nests possible measuring at 13ft deep and 8.2ft wide. The females will typically grow 25% larger than males. These birds prefer to nest near bodies of water where a large number of fish are available. Bald Eagles tend to mate for life but if one of the pair dies the surviving bird will look for a new mate. In my opinion these guys look grumpy.
