"Let your fear go, and dance up a storm!" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Ira is what the hatchlings call a 'cool grandma'. She was a drifter, passing from clan to clan and dancing in silks for coins before she came to the mystic plateau. She heard of the moonlight festival from a travelling longneck merchant and decided to pass through, never able to resist an opportunity to dance for fun. When she began to mingle, her breath was taken away when she came across her mother in the crowd. They talked for the rest of the night and her mother convinced her to stay - the two of them had parted ways long ago when Ira was far younger, both pursuing separate dreams and lives. Being Nori's firstborn, it had been a tearful parting, and fate it seemed had brought the two together once more. Due to her age, Ira is now retired, only occasionally being called in as a backup or replacement dancer for the moonlight festivals. She prefers to mingle and dance with the crowd - she's extremely social and extroverted, and can fit into nearly any group, though her favourite type of dragon to befriend are the ones who hang back by themselves, shy of the crowd and the throng of dragons and beasts. She may be enthusiastic and jovial most of the time, but she also inherited her mother's calm nature when it comes to dealing with dragons who need advice or a friend. She's rarely shy, but has found herself tongue-tied of late around Iolas, a newer member of the clan. She listens to his stories whenever he tells them, and his openness and honesty is something she's found to be a bit rare in dragons during her travels. He seems to have noticed her affection, and he's recently begun asking her to have dinner with him most nights of the week. Ira's a little nervous about telling Nori about him for his sake, since her mother is known to be a bit protective, but she knows she'd support her decision in the end. For the moment, she's just excited to see where this might lead. |
