Valkyrie

A solitary creature for much of her life, Valkyrie's journey started in the company of her parents, long ago. They were wanderers, nomads, travelling as they pleased, with no guide or purpose beyond the pull of her mother's senses. Saku was acutely attuned to the auras of those experiencing pain and suffering, and could sense them at some distance, so she and her mate sought out the sources of those feelings, and brought healing and comfort where they could. Occasionally they would pause briefly in their travels to hatch a nest, but the hatchlings were usually left behind with another clan; theirs was no life for one so young.

Valkyrie was hatched at an odd time, away from any conveniently nearby lairs. She seemed unfazed by her parents' work, and even began helping as best she could once she was older. While she inherited Saku's sensitivity to certain auras, Valkyrie lacked her mother's magical healing abilities, and focused instead on bringing peace and comfort to those who were beyond all hope.
