Riot

Despite his name, Riot is quiet and mild-mannered, and about as nonthreatening as a plague-born mirror can be. As far as his clanmates know, he has an aversion to sunlight caused by either some unknown condition or simply being raised by parents who preferred the night. They've never seen him eat, but he remains well-fed, so it must not be anything to worry about. He sleeps through much of the day, rising as the sun sets.

He happily keeps watch at night. Butch often offers to take over in shifts, giving him time to stretch his wings and (she hopes) eat something, and whether he accepts or declines the offer it's just as gracefully. He's an odd fellow, but so is everyone else, and however this short, slightly pudgy mirror does it, no harm has come to any of his clanmates during the night since he arrived.

They don't need to know he feeds on the blood of would-be assailants, scaring off any who survive. They don't need to know where he came from, his lineage, the parents who traveled to the Plaguebringer's domain so he and his nestmates could be born with Her blessing. It's easy to forget, with his pleasant and unassuming demeanor, that he was born at the time of year that supernatural forces and the Plaguebringer Herself are most powerful.

He would never lay a claw or fang on any of his clanmates, but he has no mercy for those who would seek to harm those he cares for. They can sleep peacefully under this powerful vampire's protection.
