Bio
Named by the Hearthfather after they arrived -nameless and historyless- in the Tangled Hearth.
This one came to the forest with unbridled hope. They'd bought a map from the back corner of a market in the Colonnades in the hopes of finding a way out, and then with their prayers finally answered they could feel the cold penetrating their skin like never before. But they'd come so far and they've done so much; the cold felt like nothing compared to what they had endured before. They held out for days with no sleep, because they didn't come this far to settle for second best. So they followed a scent and then a rumor about clans in the area. New clans, old clans, anyone who'd welcome a inelegant veilspun with no wealth or history.
After visiting many uninspired nests and facing much rejection, they came to a comfortingly cloistered forest to meet the guardian who'd been told to be making a nest there. They were struck by the variety of spaces and attention to detail in his nest design, and they overwhelmed Velvet-Iron with their enthusiasm...[cont.]
To avoid going into tupor when sleeping Silk-Hound made a narrow burrow inside the Tangled Hearth, where even Velvet-Iron with his wide-span wings could still fit inside, and where ....[cont.]
