Harsh taskmaster of the fighting force. Vanish is harsh almost to the point of cruelty, even to younger dragons; she reasons that they have to get used to the reality of the world sometime,

and if she's criticized for this view she rounds on the offender and attempts to give them a sound mauling. This works well with some, and less with others.

Still, as much as Vanish tries to kill the soft parts of her, it refuses to completely die, and she shows her softer side in small mercies. Perhaps one day she will succeed in destroying what's left of her kindness; perhaps one day someone else will figure out the reason why she tries so hard to destroy it. Only time will tell.
