a faint buzzing can be heard you push open the arcade doors. cyan, magenta and purple fluorescent lights flood your vision as you step in, and you notice the big centerpiece of the arcade - a large, majestic, lion-like … dragon? you aren’t sure, but it’s beautiful. you stare at the big, statuesque figure, as you hear a low, rumbly, yet gentle voice say, “it’s bad manners to stare. take a picture, it’ll last longer.” your head swivels left to right, searching for the source of the voice. but as you do, you notice the large center piece shift — it tucks its wings closer to its body and puffs out its chest, like it’s posing for a picture. you stand still, your feet glued to the ground. your jaw drops - in both awe and shock. slowly, you lift the Polaroid camera hanging from your neck from your chest, up to your face. you catch the center piece eyes move, and you feel as if it’s looking directly at you. the camera shutters, and the centerpiece is back to its original pose.
