Biography
Firecracker
Uh-oh, looks like this little firebug wandered a little too far from his lair (ID 94239, HoardQueen), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.
Firecracker is a optimistic spry lad, never being able to sit too long in one place. He loves adventure and has decided to follow in his father's footsteps and explore the world! His favorite things include butterflies, shinies, and best of all (you guessed it), Fireworks. He's never without his sack of chemicals, ready to celebrate anything at any given moment. Of course, this habit of his has set the lair on fire on more than one occasion. Lets hope you have a fire extinguisher handy!

-Today is the day! I'm leaving the Shadows to see what the world has to offer! I'll be leaving behind my sister Alani and father Lyresong, but I'm sure they'll be okay. My father always loved to travel, so maybe with me leaving he'll pack up and head back out to adventure as well! Maybe we'll meet again in some new place, far away from Shadow flight where I grew up! Wouldn't that be cool?
HoardQueen
-I've returned home for a quick visit after my short stay in the Shifting Expanse. It seems I was so excited I forgot to write in my journal, but no matter. I'm sure I'll have plenty of adventures to tell the clan next time I visit! Everyone was surprised to see my mug around here so soon, but I missed my sister a lot; We were always together as hatchlings and this is the longest I've been away from her. After this visit though I'll make myself deal with my homesickness- afterall, Dad was tough enough to never get homesick and so neither will I! Well, I hope..

- The current stop on my journey is the Dragonhome and while the craggy scenery reminds me of home, the dragons are oddly peaceful and non-industrious… for the most part, anyway. The earth clan I’m staying with recently moved to the Greatwyrm's Breach themselves so there’s been a lot of running around and moving things left and right. I'm going underground tomorrow with a mining team of siblings to see if the lair can be expanded any further which will be a chance to get away and a new adventure both.
The expedition went horribly wrong. The mining shaft collapsed and though Kevgru, Kendo and I got clear we lost Kaleena behind the stones. We have supplies to last us until the search party finds us and those two know how to survive underground so it should be alright. Kevgru thinks he can hear dripping water so we’re staying put for a few hours to see if there’s a search party before going. Kaleena knows the routine so hopefully we'll meet up.
Still no sign of a search party or Kaleena and sound we were following turned out to be from an underground lake. Kendo drank but spat the water back out at once – something wrong with the taste. We’re taking a brief rest before we backtrack and try to circle around.
Day 3 underground. We found Kaleena today, too late. The siblings fought and Kendo left. The two of us will follow as soon as we lay her to rest. I won’t write after this – Kevgru says that skeletal wyrms hate light so we’re saving the candles for when we encounter them.
Last candle is running out. The food supplies are low but we don’t want to eat the mushrooms, they look all wrong. I miss the Shifting Expanse, the light and above all my sister and father. I'm sorry.
- It’s been months since I wrote. Both Kevgru and I were rescued after being trapped underground but it’s taken time to sort through it all, my time spent healing, listening to stories, gathering plants for the clan and babysitting the hatchlings, including Kevgru’s new younger siblings. Though I’ve been on the surface all this time my eyes still haven’t adjusted completely: “light shyness” the healers call it, though it should pass (Florix is taking my dictation right now in case the handwriting seems off). Despite that I think it’s time to move on and start travelling again, yes, Florix it’s been far too long. No, not home. I still haven’t seen enough of the world. No, the mashed plantain incident has nothing to do with it. Are you writing all of this down? Don't lie, I can hear your pen. Firecracker is now officially declared an idiot by Florix of the Cliff Lion Clan and has nothing more intelligent to say. He will be missed though.
I have spent a fair amount of time in a lovely water lair, healing and resting. I have been learning and studying, trying to find my place. It has been quite difficult. I hope one day I can understand why I'm here and why these terrible things happened to me. I'm going to return home for a while, and hopefully, I will begin to understand myself.
