Biography
Rhosyn is one of the Order's most established warriors. She may not be the strongest of them, but she is definitely among the top ranks. Many strong dragons have come and gone over the years and Rhosyn has stayed through it all. She joined the Order of the Colossus before it was established, before the group of dragons moved into the skeletal remains that would give the clan its present name.
Despite having a fairly different temper than them, Rhosyn is very close with the clan's leaders Torbjorn and Svetlana. The three, still weak and inexperienced back then, had braved many fights together that would eventually get them to be as strong as they were now.
This mirror can be brash and outspoken, aware of her considerable skill and unafraid to demonstrate it, but she is gracious and humble when it counts. Having been a member of the clan for so long, she could have easily requested to be placed at the top of the warrior hierarchy and the leaders would have likely fulfilled her wish. However, Rhosyn is satisfied with what she has and what she is. She's a warrior, plain and simple.
When it comes to relationships, Rhosyn is considerably less skilled. In the Order's young days, there were barely any other mirrors to keep her company; she was a lonely mirror without a pack. It was a difficult time but she learned to deal with it eventually, but it seems to have had some lasting damage. Now that there are more of her kind around, she has a hard time making friends and usually prefers to keep to herself.
Romantic relationships, she's had a few. Most notably Carlos, an older guardian who has been in the Order for a similarly long time as Rhosyn. They hit it off in the beginning and were a happy couple, despite Rhosyn's frequent grievances over Carlos' protective instinct. After all, ashe always has been strong and able to look out for herself; she didn't need some arrogant dandy who's only advantage was his size to take care of her. Rhosyn, warrior extraordinaire is no stupid damsel in distress.
Carlos' arrogance was his downfall eventually - he betrayed the growing clan by trying to defeat Torbjorn and take over. Rhosyn had always been loyal through and through, and she was disgusted with her mate for stooping to such a low level.
She didn't speak a word to him after this for years, the pain of the betrayal ran too deep. She'd sneer to those prying into her private business sometimes: "Had he betrayed our leaders just a while later, he would have gotten an appointment with Melvara."
She always said this with venom practically dripping from her tongue. But now... now that the guardian became meek and deeply regretful of what he did, now that Rhosyn is slowly but surely giving him a chance to fix his past mistakes...she is relieved that there was no executioner back then.
Warrior
Used to be the mate of Carlos, then Artair replaced Carlos. They fought over Rhosyn, and she was not amused cause she's no damsel in distress. Could probably kick both their butts.
Artair is gone again. Carlos reigns supreme in the battle over the pretty warrior.
Rhosyn is neither impressed nor amused.
THE CARRION CROW - The Month of Contagion (LAST WEEK IN OCTOBER THRU PENULTIMATE WEEK IN NOVEMBER)
Symbol of the necessity of the Plaguebringer as death in the cycles of life, and an image of survival in the harshest conditions. The Carrion Crow is simply depicted as a jet black crow.
Can be… Independent, strong-willed, expansive, unstoppable
But also can be… Explosive, dangerous, inscrutable
