Obscurum is a rather lengthy Tundra with an unusually small wingspan, and must take off from high-reaching areas in order to achieve what he can best assume as flight. At best, he is only able to glide. His face is notably more square than round, and his canines are large, not unlike that of a Sabertooth. His claws are neatly trimmed by keeping his extra lair space tidy, and as a result, his coat is exceptionally glossy.

He is a very down-to-earth dragon that enjoys sunbathing and lairmade wine. His calming demeanor, as one of his advantages in managing his Clan, makes him skilled at breaking up whatever disputes happen to stir within the lair. He does not consider himself a leader, nor does he call himself one. In fact, Duena, his mate, happens to handle foreign affairs such as interactions with other Clans, trades, courier schedules, and so forth. However, he is highly respected for creating Mabruk and building its beginning close to the Wandering Contagion and guiding his clanmates forward to stay at the far reaches of the Focal Point. He hopes to forever settle close to the Observatory before he will finally allow himself to relax.
