Biography

Korgul the Guardian, Korgul the warrior... Korgul the dragon that loves to lay on the riverbank under the shade of tall trees and sleep. She likes to play among the roots and the branches of the monstrous trees, exploring wherever she can go. But she's also vicious, merciless, a fierce protector of her clan and children. Her family is everything.

If she has any flaw, it's that she's terrible lazy. Spending most of her time sleeping, or just laying on a tree branch somewhere and enjoying the sunshine or watching the shadows play over the forest floor. Many of her injuries and scars have came from falling asleep on a tree branch somewhere, then falling off of it and hurting herself. Luckily, her clan has a healer that makes sure she doesn't suffer much.

Korgul found her charge with her clan. She will protect them with her life, her last breath, until her scales are rent and her claws broken. To anger her is to provoke an immense dragon into a fight to the bitter end, and her roots run deep and strong into the forest floor. She's a warrior born, and she has the claws and jaws to prove that she can keep up with any threat that would come to her family. But her greatest strength doesn't come from her muscle. It comes from her family, who is willing to follow her into battle, because they know she will always follow them.

Her mate is the Guardian dragon Cluster, their togetherness marked by their wolf pelt headdresses. While they are bonded, that doesn't stop either of them from having hatchlings with other dragons. They will make their Clan stronger, and will do what it takes to make that happen.

Her happiness seems to come from two things. The first, getting to be lazy on the riverbank, listening to the squabbling of her clan. The second, letting the youngsters run over her and play and fall and do whatever it is that hatchlings do. This is extended to all of the clan children, the ones she's laid, the ones that others have hatched, and those hatchlings that found their way to her.
