Though the Clan of Windswept Ashes has no dedicated scholar, Almanack is a treasure trove of pertinent knowledge. Almanack has ventured, like many other members of the clan, for many years across countless wilds, but had an entirely different goal in mind: the pursuit of knowledge. Though his aging mind can't recall memories as it used to, the logical nature of his mind and endless stream of worldly wisdom will never abandon him.

Almanack's worst fear is the loss of his identity. He's forgotten old friends, he's lost the faces of his mother and father to time, and he'd be hard pressed to locate the clan of his birth if he tried. This fear crept upon him, slowly, peaking when near the time when he'd been studying weather patterns in Wind flight territory. The fear, while a constant curse, led him to meet the old tundra he'd eventually call his mate.

Berkeley is the Clan of Windswept Ashes' lore keeper, and Almanack's salvation. This grandmotherly dragon, while not the brightest, has an infallible olfactory memory. A single scent can lead her on a tangent of her past adventures as a journeyer, only stopping when another dragon interrupts or needs a friend to listen to them.

To put it simply, Berkeley and Almanack are a perfect match. Almanack has all of the wisdom that Berkeley might lack, and Berkeley can remember every name, face, and scent that they've ever come into contact with together.

Their combined pool of knowledge is one of the clan's most valuable resources.
