Raised in The Witchwood clan and student of the leader, Squash. Puya set out with her mate, Hellebore, into The Overgrowth. With Puya's knowledge of the native flora and Hellebore's skills in magic, they made it through with little problem. There they met Virid, curious about the paranoid and reclusive dragon, they listened to her story. They felt sympathy for this lone dragon after surviving such horrors. So Puya looked to her mate and in that moment they knew what they wanted to do. They settled on Virid's old clan grounds, ready to start from scratch and make The Overgrowth more hospitable. They worked hard and word spread of their efforts. Soon there was a clear path from The Gladelands to the new settlement. Some residents of The Witchwood clan made their way over and joined in the effort, while strangers joined by simple word of mouth. But problems arose, as you see there were dangerous dragons who had already made the equally dangerous Overgrowth their home. They attacked the the settlement, scaring some off, but angering most. Both clans banded together and scared off their assailants, but they had already left their mark on the area. And so with the area being as safe as possible, the new clan flourished and thus began The Witch Hazel clan.
