Generously given by bec! Oldest dragon in this clan. Well, until that old pirate pearlcatcher started hanging around the tavern all the time, at least. Geez, is she planning on staying forever? And now there's other oldies drifting around town, too. Vera remains as absent-minded and full of stories as ever, though.

"So! You came for some stories, yes? Or perhaps a song? Yes, yes, I think I've had a couple good ones bouncing around my head today. You see, I was at a dinner party many years ago, and the most peculiar thing happened. There was a knock at the door, and wouldn't you know, it was the Grim Reaper! Well, we invited him to sit and join us, but, gosh was he ever in a rush. Could have really used a cough drop, too, poor thing. Anyways, when he finally got around to telling us why he was there, I was most shocked to hear it was the salmon mousse! So off we went, of course, but along the way I remembered, I didn't even eat the mousse! Seafood just doesn't agree with me, I tell you."

Wait, so you died? Or... I guess not? That story didn't make any sense, Vera...

"Vera, you've been around for a while! Can you tell us some tales about the world? How did you come to live in this clan, anyway?"

"Well, I'll tell you..." She smiles and bobs her head back and forth slightly, as the faint sound of music appears out of nowhere. Dragons around you say to each other, in time with the beat and in a slightly sing-song voice: "She's going to tell." "She's going to tell!" "She's going to tell." "She's going to tell!". Vera continues to smile and bob her head up and down, and inexplicably you find yourself traveling slowly backwards, away from the singing, which continues on in the distance as you fly away.

She's always been all basic, and it somehow feels wrong to gene her... but I love black&white dergs, and poitox... oh man it's just so good. I'll make the decision once I'm done other gene projects.


She's got quite the network of offspring, so I obsessively went through the lineages looking for any for sale. So far I found Battli, a great great great great grandaughter Coatl!
