Biography

Wake up! Nadja, Nadja we're here! Please, wake up! She heard the faint noises of her clanmates yelling her name, her ears ringing. She cracked her eyes open. Ground. All she could see was hundreds of injured or dead dragons, and smoke. Lots and lots of smoke. She groaned and weakly sat up, her head still spinning. Some of her closest clanmates were with her, surrounding her. They all rushed in to hug her, but a faint sound caught her attention. A moment too late, she called "WATCH OUT!" but it was of no use. The huge fireball slammed into her and her clanmates, and the last thing she saw was all her clanmates' bodies on the ground, before all went black. She woke up on a polar bear pelt bed, in a bright room. There were other dragons in beds, with mostly war wounds. The war had gone on for quite some time now, and they had lost many soldiers. Wait, why was she here? She was supposed to be in the battlefeild, defending her clan! Then it all came back to her. Her friends. The Obelisk firing at them. Their bodies lying limp on the ground. She sat up suddenly, the sudden motion making her head throb. What was this? Small snowflakes drifted around her talons, seeming to appear out of nowhere. She shook herself. No, no form of ice or snow had ever manifested near her. Or from her. There was no possible was she was a Frostfire, right? No, that was just a fairy tale to make hatchlings fall asleep. It wasn't real. Either was, dragons hadn't had that strong of a connection to the elements for at least a hundred years, if ever. Right? Then why did the snowflakes suggest otherwise? It didn't matter, right now she just needed to find her clanmates. She searched through the large war hospital tent, looking for her clanmates. Well, her favourite clanmates anyway. She quickly passed an Aether nurse, almost not seeing her because of how immersed she was in finding her friends. She skidded to a halt and trotted back to the wide-eyed nurse. "Wh-" the nurse asked, but Nadja interrupted. "Have you seen my clanmates? An Imperial, Spiral, Guardian, Wildclaw, and a little Fae? I can tell you their names. . ." she said frantically. The nurse looked at her, then her eyes softened. "Oh, dear. I know where the Imperial, Spiral, and Wildclaw are, but. . ." She trailed off, not meeting Nadja's eyes. "But what?" Nadja demanded, a hink of fear and worry seeping into her voice. "Well. . ." the nurse said, "It was a big battle, and that was a pretty big fireball. . ." she said, but Nadja already thought she knew what had probably happened. "I'm so sorry, dear, but. . . we tried our best, but there was just no hope. Your friends passed without pain, they're with the Lightweaver now." she said sadly. No. NO. It couldn't be true. It just couldn't. They were ALIVE, she knew it. . . there was no way. . . Nadja fled, an expression or sorrow and guilt on her face, tears streaking down her purple scales. She had led them into the battle, confident that they would win, not even thinking about what would happen if they didn't. The snowflakes that hit her face melted into her tears. Now, because of her, Rain and Ghoul were dead. Some of the best friends she had ever known. W.I.P
