Yahaira

Yahaira walked a similar path to that of her mate, clan founder Ashmane. A lonely wanderer, Yahaira drifted alone for years until being taken in by a pair of dragons, Liriel and Arven, in search of a mysterious foundling called Idurre. They found her eventually, but Yahaira found much more -- Idurre's sworn Guardian, the powerful Ashmane. Taken in by his care for her fellow lost souls, Yahaira became bound to Ashmane, making her the mother of the clan.

Her motherly role is squashed by Aurora though, who fancies herself Idurre's caretaker in a similar role to Seraphine and Eleveld. Now that she has two hatchlings of her own -- gentle Glimmerash and spunky Arka -- she finds the queenly role even more stifling, and often thinks of leaving the clan with her children. But that's only a fleeting fantasy...
