Solstice

Lore in development! (( also, i'm not a story writer or never written in my life so please help )) P.S. I want to decorate this bio/story but I need to summarize it shortly, I'll do that someday.

In Ashfall Waste, near Blacksand Annex... a Young Pearlcatcher could be heard darting after a Ridgeback, who was also young, the Ridgeback had Solstice's pearl after digging a burrow-like hole to acquire it. She knew that if that pearl was destroyed or lost, her parents would abandon her in a instant, Solstice chased after [Dragon name 2] with all her speed, not feeling the playful intentions of [Dragon name 2].

"Give it back! This isn't funny! You'll know what my parents do if they find out I lost it!" The Pearlcatcher shouted

"I'm just 'borrowing' it! It's so shiny and cool, I gotta play with it and my friends gotta see!" The Ridgeback answered loudly, ending her sentence with a laugh.

"You idiot, you're just gonna get it burnt by the lava or lose it after, now give it back!" Solstice patience was slowly becoming nonexistent and she just wanted it to be over with.

During this goose chase, they were unknowingly heading to the Great Furnace, which was the biggest and most active volcano known there... yet [Dragon name 2] and Solstice still charged toward it, unbeknownst of what could happen next...

Both dragons never took notice to the fact they were literally climbing up a scorching hot volcano even as the Ridgeback neared the entrance of the volcano that laid on the top with Solstice angrily following along.

"[Dragon name 2] Just stop! You're gonna drop it in the Great Furnace! You're so dumb!" The young Pearlcatcher cried as she tried to reach her pearl but it was out of her reach.

"You're gonna make me drop it if you keep pushing me! It might even fall out of my hands and even into this big, hot, volcano! hahaha!" [Dragon name 2] said as she had Solstice pushing against her and reaching for the pearl whilst she held it over the edge of the volcano, where scorching hot lava was all that could be seen.

Just as she jinxed herself, the pearl fell out of the Ridgeback's hand and into the Great Furnace. Solstice watched in complete shock and horror as it did and thought to herself.

''If that pearl is lost into the lava...will it be destroyed? Will my parents abandon me for when no other dragon is gonna help me..all because I couldn't take care of my pearl? What will happen to me? I don't wanna be on my own begging for help as a hatchling! I can't let that pearl fall in! Not now! Not ever!''


It took only a couple of seconds for Solstice to go into the Great Furnace for her pearl, it meant everything. Diving in the pit of the volcano whilst her pearl got further and further away from her, it was becoming hotter and hotter the deeper she went and yet, she carried on.

"What in the Flamecaller are you doing?! Solstice The pearl is gonna be burnt you can't get it! The concerned Ridgbeack shouted, thinking that Solstice was going insane.

"I have to! I don't wanna be abandoned! I don't wanna struggle to live as a hatchling! I can't! I won't!" The Pearlcatcher yelled back, her voice becoming more distant as she went in

The Pearlcatcher was going too deep, her skin felt like she was in a giant oven and that her eyes beginning to become irritated due to the smoke. The pearl splashed against the lava making a splash as if it were on water.

"You're insane! Come back! You're gonna get burnt alive! No fire dragon, let alone a hatchling can withstand lava, don't do it! The Ridgeback attempted to chase her friend but it was extremely hot and clouded with smoke and she turned back, beginning to cry knowing the fate of her stubborn friend.

Solstice dived into the pit of lava to retrieve her pearl, and as soon as she did, she entered a world of scorching pain. Her scales started to melt away and her hair becoming molted by the sizzling lava surrounding her, she attempted to fly away with her pearl intact and she was unaware if was even safe as she had her eyes closed. She had trouble getting out as her wings were being melted by the lava, she wanted to scream out to her friend, her parents, Flamecaller, any dragon who could help her be free from this scorching, searing, pain.

Finally, most of her nerves were burnt away and she began feeling little pain and she felt her wings solidifying and somehow becoming apart of the lava that was attempting to submerge her. She was about to lose hope but she was willing to return to her friend and her parents, thinking of their joyous faces knowing she survived a lava pit, envisioning them cheering her on and they were screaming her name,

"You can do it! dragon name, go go go! You gotta see them, they want you to live! Go! See your friends, see your family! Everydragon is gonna know how cool you are! Go!"

This gave the Pearlcatcher enough motivation to get herself out, or attempt to. She flew out of the pit of volcano, hearing every dragon cheer for her to escape along with her pearl. She let out of a scream of anguish as using her wings was putting her through agony, especially with a pearl near the size of her. She carried on until she was out and she landed onto the entrance of the volcano, more like falling as she couldn't move a inch because of her pain. She opened her eyes to see her Ridgeback friend covering her mouth, she thought she would congratulate her but instead they look horrified.

"Solstice Oh my goodness! You're alive! Y-y-you're alive! Thank Flamecaller, I didn't know you would live and the adults didn't too, t-they all thought you were gonna die! I prayed that you would survive, i'm so glad I did!" The Ridgeback said with a horrified voice turning into one of relief mid-sentence.

The Pearlcatcher looked around to see the adult and elder dragons of her clan, surrounding her and they all wore shocked, terrified, scared, expressions, she spotted her parents who were the most horror-struck. [Dragon name] was so scared as if she had done something wrong, that feeling quickly faded as her mother and along with her father grabbed her quickly went to give her medical attention, [Dragon name]'s consciousness was fading but she tried to stay away to hear any cheer but only heard none, she decided to give in and fall asleep.

Solstice became a adult dragon who lives in solitude, her friend that she called [Dragon name 2] is no longer existent in her new life. She has become nothing but a dragon of scorching magma and flames, any dragon that touched her would be burned, she could no longer hug her parents, play tag with her fellow hatchlings, or even touch the things she adored and loved, she would just burn it all until it would be ruined or become a crisp.

In the end, she decided to become a blacksmith so she could create lava resistant armor for herself and others, when hunting it can go sideways for her, she flows with lava and her armour makes her easy to see so she has to pay other dragons to do it for her or she can just eat burnt, crunchy, crispy, leaves, quite yummy if you ask her (not really).

She's extremely passionate about her job, she even loves to bond with familiars who radiate fire in someway.
