What there is to divulge about Nocturnal is a short list, but not for lack of trying. Many may try to seek out her past to no avail. Nocturnal remains, forevermore, the cryptic entity of the clan. New hatchlings and members learn quickly not to question her directly about the dark cloud of unknown and whispers that are her past.
Long she has resided with her current clan. Often she will take mates only long enough to produce a clutch of eggs. Nocturnal is mothering by nature and raises her own, and other, hatchings well and fairly. Family is of utmost importance to her, yet it is uncertain how long her desire to stay will remain. A nomad through and through she often spends time in solitude. The fact that one day she may choose not to return hovers over the clan each time her absence is noted. Still, she makes time to return to her family each night and ensure that no harm befalls them as they sleep. Her dark body, enveloped in shadows, is ideal for her position as Nightwatch. Night after night will find her standing guard over her family. Often her feathered companions search beyond where her discerning eyes can reach. With the very darkness as her cloak Nocturnal makes a deadly sentry. |

Back in black I see. She looks strangely maternal for some reason. The blacks and purples make her look sleek and dark which I like. Though, i'm not the biggest fan of the rogue apparel. Her lore is also cool since I like ambiguous/open ended lore.
