If there's one dragon in the clan of the Wandering Breeze that makes everyone feel deeply unsettled, it's Meklit. Her mother was cursed, and Meklit wanted to save her. In the end, she succeeded by taking the curse for herself and "merging" with it. It's hard to tell whether she can be still considered a dragon, or maybe she's more of a monstrous amalgamation.

Meklit has a special place in the clan. She's seen as a sort of otherworldly creature, almost untouchable. When she was young she learned that a long time ago her mother was cursed to never love. Knowing that, Meklit took her mother's curse, and fused with it. Now she can't truly love anyone, but she can still care about others if she wants to. And strange side effect of the curse changing a "host" appeared - it seems nothing can truly faze her, not wounds, not ambushes, betrayals, the end of the world, nothing. If she wishes to, she will keep going no matter what.
