Skelenox; Omen of The Blood Moon

"Cursed be my hide, not my spirit."

Young Skelenox was born of ill fortune, his unique markings indicated that he would become an omen of death, a reaper of wandering souls, a cacophony of lost bones floating in the night sky. He was abandoned, cold and alone, dropped into the sea in the hopes he would drown.
Fortunately, a young guardian was scanning the shallows for fish and shells when he stumbled across the half-dead form of what looked like a beached slug. Young Scaalen wasn't sure what to make of it. Was it a curse? A signal of doom? a...its a hatchling? Kicking the body over revealed it to be an infant Nocturne, a pure black nocturne with the sigils of bones. As he took a closer look, he was startled to find its blue eyes spark open.
Scaalen jumped back, alarmed, as the hatchling coughed water and blood out of its gullet. It cried out, in pain after being resuscitated by what seemed to be fate. To calm its shrill noises, Scaalen braved himself to approach the hatchling and nudged it into his leg. Patting its tiny back and stroking its fragile wings. It's crying stopped.

Skelenox knew of his past, and feared the sea and his heritage. Covering himself up with lavish coats and hats to remove half of his markings from sight and make himself look as distinguished and wanted as he possibly could. His insecurities following him in waking life, as if his element wasn't enough, the cold breeze of night surely would lift the veil of his shrouds.

However, as time flew on and he stayed close to his adoptive father's side, the stains of blood tarnished his markings, and an omen he truly became. No longer could he hide himself by his vestments, but instead color himself like the blood of his foes. Now, brandishing a color unlike the rest of his clan, Skelenox accepted that he could no longer hide his curse, and willingly let the blood moon take his soul.

Skelenox leads Blood Moon dragons, due to his birthright by his adoptive parents he allies with The Blue Moon.
