Like many past travelers in the Abiding Boneyard, you wander the Wasteland aimlessly, lost in the endless dunes and bones for days now. You had started this trip eager to set out, but now you wonder whether this journey was a good idea...
However, upon trekking over the next dune, you finally spot something emerging in the distance. The gaping maw of a giant cavern that leads into the earth comes into view, a collection of ram-shack huts dotted around the edges of the abyss.
You make your way to the little settlement, finding it almost a ghost town. However, a few dragons reside within some of the shacks; perhaps they have some resources and information they can spare.

As you make your way through the worn-down settlement around the abyss, you notice a purple Gaoler who seems to be standing guard by what seems to be the main pathway into the cavern below. Perhaps he has information about the local area? You approach the Gaoler, who turns to you.

"Greetings, traveler. Are you perhaps lost? Or are you simply sight-seeing? Either way, if you so desire it, I can provide information and directions to the local area.

"What would you like to know?"

The Gaoler's face lightens up a bit at the mention of the Kingdom.
"Ah, the Avivoryss Kingdom! It is said that Queen Carminite had long dreamed of creating a place like the Kingdom - one that would accept dragons from all backgrounds, and one that would grow to house many dragons and make many allies. To say it was a bit idealistic wouldn't be wrong, but she nonetheless wandered the Wasteland for a place to start this dream.
"It's beyond me why she chose to start her clan within this abyss here-" he motions to the chasm in the ground behind him with his head "-but she did so anyway, and was soon joined by King Tangorn, and over time other dragons. The Kingdom started as merely a small clan, housed in a series of caves carved out into the side of the abyss, but over time the clan grew into the kingdom we know today.
"Though, that's not to say the Kingdom doesn't have... issues. There are plenty of... questionable dragons in the kingdom's shadows, and there is the constant threat of whatever resides deeper in the abyss... I'd recommend you keep your wits about you, even within the Kingdom."

"Lleuad or Sinew would be more than happy to escort you to the entrance of the Avivoryss Kingdom. From there, you can find statues around with info about the various areas in the Kingdom, and if all else fails, the residents are usually more than willing to help you. Just... stick to the main roads, ok?"

The Gaoler glances towards the gaping cavern behind him, then turns back towards you. "Well, you've come to the right place if you're looking for the abyss. I'm afraid I can't tell you too much about it, though. I know that there's various environments throughout the depths of the abyss, and a variety of things live down there, but most - including myself - don't know anything beyond that. No clue how it was formed, how long it's been here, or how deep it goes.

"Although, I've heard of a statue that stands near here that supposedly has more information on the things in the abyss. I've never seen the statue myself, and I'm uncertain of the the accuracy of the information on the statue, but if you're so inclined to try and find it, I won't try to stop you."

The Gaoler narrows his eyes. "... Why are you asking about those... things? I'm honestly shocked you even know what the Hivemind are; few dragons are aware of their existence. Even within the Kingdom, only a claw-full of dragons have heard of Hives, and fewer are aware of the nearby threat that is the Abysshive.

"I'm afraid if you're looking for more information about the Hive, you have the wrong dragon. If you're serious about learning about them, I'd recommend visiting Researcher Perasil in the Abyssal Laboratory; she's the Kingdom's official Hive researcher.
"... Or you could visit the Abysshive itself, I suppose. Though nobody is going to try and save you if you're captured by them.

"However, know this traveler: if I find out you're allied with those monsters-" the Gaoler bares his fangs in a snarl "-I'll personally hunt you down."
